DINO-STAR is a science oriented company that operates a Science Fossil Hall just south of Charlotte. Ideally suited for field trips of 10-40 students, Dinostar provides a unique opportunity for children to see, touch and hold actual fossils including dinosaur bones, eggs, teeth, mammoth tusks, etc. Dinostar also has authentic skeletal heads and life-size dinosaur fossil skull replicas. Dinosaur tours conclude with a fossil dig in which the children get to dig up and keep 5 real fossils. Dinostar also operates a number of exciting science and history seminars meant to enhance your student's educational experience. Some of these seminars can be held at your location. DINO-STAR offers unique science products for children of all ages child through adult. The Internet and retail stores sell unique Dinosaur pieces including authentic fossils and replicas; some are full size skeletal heads. DINO-STAR's Charlotte store has skeletal heads exceeding 60 inches. The nearest place a consumer can see similar attractions is in a museum located over 150 miles away. We also feature space related merchandise including small to large high-end telescopes for viewing the stars; you can even buy meteorites or flown artifacts from real manned spacecraft!

Dino-Star announces its first European partnership. Dino-Star Uk will begin operations as a Natural History Exhibition and Store in the East Yorkshire area of England as early as 4th quarter 2003. Dino-Star UK - a 100% British owned venture will feature a walk through the Paleozoic era, with a special emphasis on education and the natural beauty and awe of fossils found around the world. Whether a child or a seasoned collector -Dino-Star UK will offer something for everyone.

Adults and kids are fascinated by opening their very own geode they got
to choose. Geodes are made by nature and are trapped crystals in a
cocoon of rock. Mall Visitors can use our Rock Hammer and safety glasses
to crack one open themselves.

Let your child become a Paleontologist for the Day!
Children learn about dinosaurs and other fossils, take a touch tour
through our newly expanded exhibit hall and dig for authentic dinosaur
bones and fossils! They will be amazed at the things they will discover.
They will even find touch a real dinosaur egg! Parties include cake,
drink, all paper products and goodie bags. You get to relax and enjoy the
party since Dino-Star does the work for you. Basic parties begin at

Field trips
Digging for Dinosaurs
Step back in time as you go on a guided tour through the Dino-Star
fossil exhibit hall. Ever touch a dinosaur bone, seen bugs in amber
or pet an ammonite? You can at Dino-Star! Children learn about the
fossil record and how dinosaur fossils are made. Highlight is a fossil
dig where children get to keep some of the authentic fossils, toys and
minerals they dig. Class is augmented with video footage.
Space Exploration
Join us as we explore the solar system, planets and other flying objects
in the universe. The history of man's space explorations as well as
the history of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and the Space Shuttle is brought
to life through lectures, videos, and actual spacecraft artifacts.
Children build spacecraft models, hold authentic meteorites, study the
sun through a powerful solar telescope and launch rockets for a truly
out of this world experience!
The Earth's Rocky Past
Why are there so many different kinds of rocks? What does water have
to do with rocks? Find out what the rock cycle is and how this planet of
ours is changing. We explore the ecosystem, deserts, oceans, and
fossils. We even create and erupt a volcano! Don’t miss out on this
explosive good time!
Optical Illusion and the Science of Magic
Do you see what I see? Find out why we all don’t see things the same
way as we demonstrate and explain many optical illusions. Children will
learn simple magic tricks with corresponding scientific explanations. We
explore the magic of the earth, including geodes and the optical
illusion of the moon.
Class highlights include a performance by a professional magician if
available so book well in advance..
Ancient Egypt
Discover the truth about ancient Egypt. Its history and the
mythology is explained using papyrus, statues etc. The children recreate
the Giza Plain and build the great structures located there. Children
really get wrapped up in the Egyptian Burial using items the children
constructed.
Bugs and Insects
Join us as we peek in on our creepy neighbors. Bugs, spiders and
worms are the focus with particular emphasis on the anatomy. Children
will go on a bug hunt, construct insects, view videos and participate in
a fun game show like format at the end - Insect Jeopardy.
